Dayz Bad Serial number, please HELP!!!

When i open Arma or Dayz I get a Error message saying Bad Serial Number given at setup, Can anyone please explain this problem and how to solve it.

Try running steam as administrator and then running Arma 2?

I suggest Googling this or searching the forums. I've seen this problem fixed before. The answer is there if you're willing to search for it.

Have you messed with the registry, specifically for Arma 2, at all?
