Deathwind (DayZ) 28 Posted September 1, 2013 Something I noticed while playing is, hence the title of this post, those pesky snipers. 3/4 of the time, I am usually scared as a deer in the headlights to go into Cherno or Elektro because the constant drum of DMR's and AS50's is a constant mix with the groans of zombies. I wish it was only the groans of zombies. You take a real zombie apocalypse. I cant imagine anyone would have such a bloodlust to where they would spend precious minutes killing the fellow survivors who have bared the hardships of making it so far. Bludy 324 Posted September 1, 2013 and rushing big towns is not the only way to get geared! i know that, if you are lucky, it's the best way to find stuff quickly and that, if you are unlucky, there you can always go to the next house, instead of running for half an hour and see like 3 drops.. but dayz it's about patience and thinking(maybe), so: listen before approaching a town,find a gun in a barn before going in..take cover, scout the area you are and where you aim to go next..if there is a sniper you can simply avoid the city and go for a couple of villages.. listen to your feelings, you could be wrong or right, maybe you'll respawn in kamenka in a minute, or maybe you'll have a great playing session..
