Quick question

I am looking for a good server to play on as I just got done building my pc.

Any recommendations will be great! :)

Well, my  vote is always to join the vanilla Public Hives.

If you want to play with all the crazy mods people have on top of DayZ, google for "Breaking Point Whitelist server," "Origins Whitelist," etc whitelist; whitelist servers only let pre-approved players join their server, which helps guarantee a level of re-appearing players and less hackers.

It you want a nice private hive with customised map (New areas etc) but based more around the hardcore side of things then check out Hatchet Reloaded. Admins like myself are on most days and our player base is over 70 now. We have our bandits,our hero's and our confrontations but it's all in good humour and players have a certain respect for each other which is nice  :)

Download Dayz Commander, install it, use it to update arma, dayz etc, then go to server search, check hide unofficial, check hide wrong arma/dayz version, check every other filter you want (third person, crosshairs, nameplates, day/night, etc) pick a public hive server with good ping and players, get in and play.
