You may as well just play ArmA 2.

Not really, you still have the survival aspects or dayz, food, drink etc, you have the persistent world, zombies, Epoch trading, safes, base building and everything else that goes with playing dayz Epoch. just you have some nice military hardware to have fun with also. :)

It's a very nice and funny server!

Frankly this has become my favorite.

It's not like playing regular Arma 2, or OA for that matter. It's like playing DayZ, just with more stuff, wich means more action. Wich mean more fun!

I have a suggestion; Skalisty island; Make it a military island with a bridge over there.

 

I've noticed that the server is down today, so im wishing that there's an updated epoch version the next time it's up!

Yeah, I am waiting for the hosting company to update us to 1.0.2.1 as they updated the control panel and at the same time returned the server files to default 1.0.1.5 (luckily I have everything backed up so don't panic!). :/

 

 

Its a bit pointless me adding back in all the scripts/mods to have the server up for a few hours and then be taken down for the update. I will have the server back online running 1.0.2.1 ASAP (as soon as we are updated).

Where are you connecting from? What is your ping to the server?

 

The server is hosted on our dedicated box running an E3 Xeon cpu, 32gb ram and 2x120gb SSD's in raid. So I doubt its a hardware issue, most likely its a high ping causing your lag.

All custom vehicles have now been added to the traders and we have also added god mode traders. You can now also buy the AS50 at the hero/bandit traders.

We have now nerfed the spawn loadout a little, but all the sweet weapons are still at the traders. :D

An extremely laggy server.

 

You should really consider toning down the vehicle spawns to about 200-350. Your server is completely bogged down man.

 

Otherwise, I'd be on this every damn day with my death squad

The server is run on a dedicated box with the following specs:

 

Technology: Ivy Bridge

 

CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1245v2 (4 cores / 8 Threads)

Frequency: 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost)

RAM: 32 GB DDR3

Hard disk: 2 x 120MB SSD RAID STRIPED

Bandwidth: 200 Mbps guaranteed

 

So I suspect the problem may be with your ping as the server is based n the EU.

Hey i am about to go on the server but i must ask do you spawn with gold because in the server title it says free gold so please replay a.s.a.p and also when is your other server coming up.

You currently spawn with 1 10oz gold to get you going. The old server is closed as we moved away from the host that was providing it in favour of our own dedicated box. We may be adding in a vanilla Epoch server at some point though so watch this space. :)

What mods are added for now?? How many players are online average?? Theres night on your server??

There is currently not night time although we may change that in the future. You can see most of the modifications/changes we have made in the first post. The server is busy most of the time as you can see by the gametracker banner. We are currently ranked 63rd out of about 5k dayz servers. :)
