"SmokeShellYellow"

i've noticed "SmokeShellYellow" appear in the CreateVehicle and AddMagazineCargo logs recently. the entries are always associated with one particular player.

 

is this a valid dayz item? i don't recall yellow smoke being available.

SmokeShellYellow (looking into it) makes me think of the smoke shell used in the 40mm grenade launcher Nope, they're regular smoke 'nades. They're a  pretty rare color, IIRC, so if he's getting them multiple times in one play session, I'd say he's:

 

1) scripting.

2) duping.

Yellow smoke is not available in DayZ.

"SmokeShellxxxxx" are hand thrown smoke grenades. Not sure if any particular colour isn't available but I've used smoke in DayZ a few times against zombies and players. Statik may be correct though on yellow smoke.

Yellow smoke is not available in DayZ.

 

If I'm not mistaking, I'm pretty sure you can get them from fresh UAZ spawns, along with those Russian grenades (forgot the name, ROF/RDF/Something), maybe they've fixed that, though.

RGO grenades? Those are in vanilla, but I'm fairly sure Yellow smoke isn't.
