Bad fps

Hi everyone, I've just started playing Dayz, however my fps never hits 30. I've followed a video that says about Changing two arma 2 cfg files but it hasn't improved.. Could it be the server? Can someone help me!!

You could try lowering graphics settings? Options > Video options > Then lower them

Another fix is to go to Start > Documents > Then there should be folders that say ArmA 2 (If you've played it)
And, ArmA 2 OA. Open The OA one. Inside there should be ArmA2OA.cfg, you can open it with notepad, or notepad++ (I use notepad++) 
There should be two lines that are named:

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=(number);

GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=(number);

Change the number that's after '=' to 1, on both of them, save that and close it all, that'll help frames a bit also. Your setup is pretty good, it should be running DayZ well. 

Another tip: Sometimes it's the server. Find a server with a good restart schedule.

You could also disable Anti-Aliasing, and Postprocess Effects, they push your GPU to its limits also. 

If all else fails; you can try out DaiZy single-player.
