Noob server question...

Hi there,

 

So I just got my own server and had some fun doing up a vehicle. I'd like to restart the server so I can put an admin password on it but I'm scared I'll lose my car. Does restarting do this or will it be safe? Thanks in advance!

There are some pitfalls to avoid.  If you put gear into a backpack then put that backpack on a car.  The gear inside the backpack will be gone after restart.

 

If you have vehicle towing on your server...  If you do not get into a towed vehicle after you have moved it, it may go back to where you hooked onto it over a server restart.  So if you tow a vehicle always get into the towed vehicle after moving it to update it's position in the database.
