Hi Rocket!

I'm sure that this is probably an Arma2 feature, but when a player marks a spot on the map, it is visible to all players on that server who have a map.

One of our guys marked our camp (lots of tents, cars...) on the map thinking it was just a local marker for him :D

It's not a bug, it's a feature. The marker visibility depends on which chat channel you got selected. So if you put a marker on the map with the global channel selected, it'll be visible to everyone, and if you do so with the group channel, only you can see it.
