Sometimes, These things get a bit absurd

Recommended Posts

After the new patch and hotfix, i started playing, and it was fun, until i took my first step and was swarmed at spawn with 2 zombies, which quickly turned into 5, then 10, then death. I do like the new changes to the game, especially the part where food and water meters dont drain while not playing, but i think they made the aggro distance for zombies in each state a bit too far. I was crawling with one tick of sight, and no sound, which previously would have been fine and would constitute crouch-walking, but i aggroed a few zombies at the distance of old crouch-running while crawling. I think they need to tone back the area that they aggro a little bit, probably to the midway point of now and what they used to have.

Another problem with taking away the starting gun AND increasing aggro range is the fact that people can't defend themselves on a beach, they can only run, and if they can only run, they will aggro more zombies and eventually die by zombies, bandits, or rage quit. Sure, do something about starting weapons, but dont toss them out altogether when you are changing the difficulty in the harder area somewhere else. I suggest giving a pistol or at a .5% chance a hunting rifle with one clip, that is a little more reasonable than straight up nothing while increasing the range at which a zombie chases you down.

Please, by all means, comment and tell me if you think im right or battier than an MLB Star's favorite.
