Fabian94 0 Posted August 18, 2013 (edited) okay i have been thinking of buy this game and so i got the arma 2 free version and well i liked it, so then i bought the complete set and i downloaded dayzmod and it won't work properly and this sucks because i bought this game mainly for that reason. Sorry if i am missing out on some downloads or patches, but i don't know where to get them. i am starting to regret this purchase. any help? applejaxc 2500 Posted August 18, 2013 I personally don't like DayZ Commander, even though everyone else here is absolutely in love with it.The (original and my) method is to install ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead. make sure you play both games (A2/OA) offline for a few minutes, then online so BattlEYE (the anti cheat client) installs to Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead. Steam (if that's where you got the game from) should give you the option to launch "ArmA 2: CO" whenever you open ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead, which will launch ArmA2 and OA together as one game. If so, fantastic.Then you put @DayZ (the download you get from dayzmod.com) in your ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead folder, right click OA in Steam, choose "Properties," then "Launch options" and put in -mod=@DayZ (or whatever you named the folder) and launch the game.
