You are correct, might not be a great idea... but if they release a patch their systems are slammed so hard they stop responding. All I am doing is trying to help the DayZ staff offload some of the stress their servers get.I have an automated script that checks the Sweden site for any changes/updates and if it find anything changed or add or anything it downloads those changes to my system. So I can promise you for my site only that I have not touched or done anything to the files. I am pretty sure the others who have offered a mirror site so users can download files aren't doing anything to the files (or at least I hope they don't).Now if a DayZ staff member would like to contact me and make my site an "official" mirror, please shoot me a PM or an e-mail and I will get them access to my site so they can push updates out to me...As I said, I am just doing this to try and help relieve some of the stress on their system especially when an update is pushed out.
