Issues

I'm asking on behalf of me and 3 friends of mine. We all got and started playing arma2/dayz a few weeks ago, so we're all rather new at it. We've been able to play well enough for the last couple of weeks. 

 

But today when we got on, all four of us couldn't connect to any servers because our version was not up-to-date.  We also went to downloaded the "Dayz Commander" and got things updated. However when we go into the game, we still can't connect to any game. It says we need to have version "1.62.103718" but we have "1.62"      

 

103718 is the version of arma we have installed. We don't know if that is important or not. We also don't know how to update operation arrowhead. We don't see it in the Commander. 

 

Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

You will need to filter the servers on Dayzcomander, and set them to your current update. This is found on your left hand side of the screen hope this helps.

That was a little helpful, thank you. But our main issue is updating the game so we can play on the version that it appears most servers are using. We can't play on our perferred servers, which we were able to play on last week.

Are all your mods and Commander up to date? cause you can change your version there. Sorry i just update everthing and have never had an issue.

That's what we're not sure about. The Commander says our stuff is up to date. We just downloaded it today because we read somewhere, I think on here, that we needed it. I don't know how I would update the commander itself. Was there an update recently? Because we were all playing this just last week. We spent like 2 hours trying to figure it all out. Keep in mind that we're all new to Day Z and arma, so none of us know much. If it makes a difference, we got Day Z and the arma2 add-ons + arma 2 all through Steam.

When you run dayz commander you will see the install/update section located at the top right corner.  Select the drop down and anything showing out of date related to dayz commander, dayz version and beta ptach should be updated in order to make sure you are running all current versions.  Hope this helps you and your friends any other issues just send me a PM.

We actually found that tab and got everything updated (we did indeed need to update), but the issue continued. We found that tab actually before we posted on here. I know tomorrow (august 16) we'll be together and will probably sit down again and look at this some more. Everything says everything is updated, as far as we can tell, but it isn't. The version numbers we have don't match the version most servers (including ones we've played on) are using. 

 

We're getting the feeling it has to be something obvious, since we're all having this problem and can't find this sort of issue anywhere else.

I ave a very important isue!I and my friend bought day z a month ago we played 2 weeks.But on the nextday i got banned for no reasen.I just logged in and it sed:global ban #3065.PLEASE HELP!
