ARMA 2 OA StOPPED WORKING

Hey all,

 

My game still crashes at every-10-15 minutes.

 

Here's the windows event log.

 

I tried to do what was explained on this forum but it didn't worked.

Go in your Steam libary and right mouse click on each game, select properties and local files then 'Verify integrity of game cache'

It might just be someone as simple as a corrupt files, Steam will fix that :)

 

If not then perhaps your PC can't handle the game, post your specs.

My game used to crash with the same error every 20-30 minutes. It was like if it had an inner crash timer. As soon as I completely disabled shadows it stopped doing that and can now play for hours without a single crash. You can try testing that.

I tried the shadows but it just crashed :(

 

My specs are :

 

MOBO : MSI Z87 G45 Gaming

RAM : 4GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600  (Waiting for 4 other GB)

Processor : Intel I5 4670C 3.4

Graphic ; GeForce GTX 470

 

Dunno what to do anymore.

Your graphics card seems weak .

 

Try going into steam, and "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" like was suggested above. Let us know what happens after you do that, then launch both games to the main menu before launching DayZ.

Try to run arma 2 as an administrator. If you are using dayzcommander run that as admin.
