How to identify a stolen/banned key (NoBS)

Recommended Posts

I'm going to make this quick and simple.

I am not here to BS you about "I didn't do anything! Its not my fault, give me a new key".  I was an idiot, tried installing an FPS booster, got my key stolen and then banned, and I accept that.

The reason I am here, is I need help to identify which of my keys were stolen,(I have Arma2&OA) so I can buy a new one to continue to loot :beans:.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your time. -Ryan (Killaboy)

when my friend had his key stolen the dayz team told him to contact bohemia interactive because its arma 2 your looking and thats the key that was stolen, if you have proof of your purchase with the game, they will give you a new game key.

It would be best to assume both were stolen even though it was most likely just OA.  Make sure your remove all the malicious programs from your computer prior to purchasing any new copies to ensure your new keys do not get stolen.

I wiped my HDD and reinstalled Windows. :P

As for Maximun, bohemia sends you to Battleeye, and they say tuff luck if your key is stolen. (Makes sense, not their fault, its mine.)

But thanks for the help guys, very fast response!

Don't repurchase ArmA 2. whoever suggested that is an idiot. You do need you repurchase ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead, however.

If you got it on Steam, use Steam to view the CD key of your ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead, and see if the corresponding value in your registry matches. Whatever value you have in your registry (post-FPS booster) is the fake one.
