really laggy

i'm playing dayz on a laptop

 

my system specs are

 

i5 processor quadcore 2.4 @2.3

 

nvidea geforce gt 520m

 

6gig ram memory

 

i did some research and it says i should be able to play the game without any probs on high settings,

 

but still i'm allways lagging in the game

 

can someone help me out pls

 

my wifi is disabled

It's your graphics card, it's one of the lowest-end discrete cards you can buy, certainly not made for playing games.

No, you won't be able to play it on high settings without problems. In fact, you won't even be able to play it on low settings without problems.

Your CPU is powerful enough to run on 'normal' settings, but as above your graphics card is really weak and will prevent you from playing.

 

It's probably not upgradeable either, unfortunately.
