No sounds in game

Recommended Posts

Okay I have searched multiple terms multiple different times and all I find are threads about the mobs detecting sound. There is nothing about the player not hearing sounds once the game map loads up.

I hear sounds right up to the point where the loading screen goes away and I can move my character around.

Shutdown and restart. I had this yesterday and restarting fixed it.

maybe the current patch is not for the server your playing on use the six launcher to find a server/lobby and be up to date with your files !

All files are up to date. That is one problem I have with playing this game is that 80% of the servers on the list are not up to date themselves.

Okay. I tried many many different things and nothing solved the problem. My last ditch effort to solve this before scrapping the game and chalking the money I spent to a learning experience. I had to uninstall everything and then reinstall. That did fix my sound problem.

Might be, I had the same problem yesterday. My Version was 1.7.1.4.

When I joined a server with v. 1.7.1.2 and older I had no sound, no debug Monitor etc.

On 1.7.1.3 and 1.7.1.4 Servers, everything worked fine.
