I know the higher the ping the poorer the game play and the greater the chance of getting kicked by Battle eye, but what I don't get is when i'm selecting a server in commander and my ping is green...say 145, however when I click on it it shoots up 200, 300+. Or when I'm playing at a low ping and after an hour or so, sometimes less I get kicked off for too high a ping. Now to quantify things I do play often with my laptop tethered to my phone. I live in a very remote area with broadband still four to six months away. Pretty sure relying on verizon's towers isn't helping me any. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
-Se7eN- 874 Posted August 1, 2013 Some times you will get some pretty nasty ping spikes which causes the kicks, make sure you close dayz commander once your in game, as it does run in the background while you play, and other things like spotify and google chrome and what not, also you can always ask what the ping kick is for that server, the admins set it so they should know. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
