Bad Version, Server rejected connection

I am using day z commander and i try get into a server but it says Bad Version, Server rejected connection and it is up to date :/

DayZ Commander may be showing the wrong version for the server. Try downgrading to .6 or any lower.

Go to Install/Update

Under 'mods':

Click on the DayZ dropdown and choose an older version (like 1.7.6.1)

 

If the server name is greyed out it can mean you have the wrong version, mouse over the server you want to get in and see what it is running,

Then i get an error saying The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

please help someone i bought this arma 2 and arma 2 aroowhead just for dayz :(

If I am not mistaken this has something to do with your Battleye and it not being the same version as the server go to http://battleye.com/download.html and follow the instructions on that webpage.

That website tells me to put these words into my expansion folder but do i put it into notepad first or ?

and what do i save it as ?

Make sure on steam you have "Arma 2 OA Beta Patch" downloaded.

 

After that make sure commander is up to date.

 

then head to options and tick "Replace original arma2oa files so steam works"

 

try and join a server. should fix your issue.
