transfering dayz and dayz origins to new account

hello, i just purchased a new computer and bought a copy of arma 2 and arma 2 ao on steam, on another computer i  have a copy of arma 2 and arma 2 ao which is a cd version with dayz commander to which i currently play on but i need to know if i can transfer my progress from the computer that has to dayz progress to my new computer which has the recent steam purchase and if so how i do it? i have many many of hours progress i do not want to loose.

Sadly you cannot transfer your progress to the other copy of it, but you can download the same version on that computer with the same CD key.

Well you can switch your key but that will render you second copy kinda useless.
