Will I be able to run DayZ on this iMac?

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of buying an iMac for working purposes but I also enjoy playing DayZ and I am anticipating the release of Standalone. What I was wondering was if I would be able to play DayZ at high settings and hopefully standalone with the following specifications:

Type iMac All-in-one Desktop Processor Intel® Core™ i5 processor (2.9 GHz, Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz, 6MB L3 cache) Operating system OS X Mountain Lion Storage 1 TB, 5400 rpm
- configurable to 1 TB Fusion Drive PERFORMANCE RAM 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3
- 1600 MHz Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics processor Graphics card memory

512 MB GDDR5

Thank you in advance.

(Please don't tell me to get a desktop, i've already decided on getting an iMac - thanks!)

I was going to just copy paste "NO!" a bunch of times out of hate on Apple products for gaming... but yeah. You might, actually. If ArmA 2/OA will run on Mac. That's better than my laptop, which gets 30 FPS.

30 FPS on lowest settings?

Thanks a lot for your reply but I wasn't hoping for a more accurate/informative answer.
