MrHaze 1 Posted July 27, 2013 I'm thinking of buying an iMac for working purposes but I also enjoy playing DayZ and I am anticipating the release of Standalone. What I was wondering was if I would be able to play DayZ at high settings and hopefully standalone with the following specifications: Type iMac All-in-one Desktop Processor Intel® Core™ i5 processor (2.9 GHz, Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz, 6MB L3 cache) Operating system OS X Mountain Lion Storage 1 TB, 5400 rpm - configurable to 1 TB Fusion Drive PERFORMANCE RAM 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3 - 1600 MHz Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics processor Graphics card memory 512 MB GDDR5 Thank you in advance. (Please don't tell me to get a desktop, i've already decided on getting an iMac - thanks!)
applejaxc 2500 Posted July 27, 2013 I was going to just copy paste "NO!" a bunch of times out of hate on Apple products for gaming... but yeah. You might, actually. If ArmA 2/OA will run on Mac. That's better than my laptop, which gets 30 FPS.

John69 64 Posted July 27, 2013 Ok, then if i say that you wont be able to play Dayz on high setting, will that answer youre question? Why you say, Its youre hardware. Very few laptops can run Dayz on HIGH settings, (with playable fps)
