add custom weapons to dayz loot table

so ive edited the cfgbuildingloot.hpp and tryed to add in my custom wepaon but everytime i seem addd my guns all loot stop spawning in the firehouse which is the only building im adding my gun to as of right now  and ik the guns work as i can spawn them in with my admin menu so i dont understand why there breaking loot spawning any ideas guys?

Did you rebalance the other loot values? (IE, making one item spawn less to accommodate another item)

that or you editied something you wasnt supposed to and broke the file ;) 

 

check that you didnt delete or add something you shouldnt.

i did not rebalance i wouldn't know how to go about that is there a chance limit or somthing? and all i added was {"RH_umpsdaim","weapon",0.02}, which is what all the other weapons in ther look like and also ive started froma clean pbo a couple times and just added that and same thing

Go ahead and try replacing (back up the original firehouse) the firehouse tables with 100% your new weapon and see if that will spawn at all.

hmmmm seems it wont spawn thats odd sense i can spawn it with my admin menu and it works fine

no its phoenix's admin menu any idea how to add the guns in? i added them into the admin menu myself same names and stuff so i wouldnt get y they wont work in the buildingloot file

ok lets forget the admin menu lol as its not the problem lol but any idea how to get these added in are there possibly other files that i have to edit cause other rh weapon packs are in the loot tables and spawning just fine but i didnt add them so i dont know the process .

Phoenix's cheat menu? Yeah I know that.

I love when people like you assumes that because someone has an Admin menu set up, they're cheating. Admin tools allow for admins to help players in ways they couldnt before. Also, If you're setting up a new server, testing out a lot of mods takes hours sometimes without them. They allow you to use the tools to test the mods. Also, if a player dies or loses stuff due to the server or mod bugging out, this allows for admin (Who choose to help) to replace items lost, bring a player back to life if they died to a bug, or TP them to their body.  If used properly these "Cheats" can make the player experience that much better. I refuse to help players if they die to in Ai, zombies or anything like that, legit deaths.  But using the tools properly, I've actually gained more players because they know I dont abuse them but help people out. You're always going to have people abuse things like this, just part of life. But telling someone they're using "Cheats" on there server? I'm sorry, if it makes me a cheater because I want to be able to test my server in a decent amount of time as well as help players, then I guess I'm a cheater.
