Hi.

 

So a problem (not nearly as common as it once was) that DayZ (mod) has, that hopefully won't follow into the Stand Alone, is being stuck in the "Debug forest" or similar locations. Thus this suggestion is more geared towards the mod than anything else.

 

A lot of Coop "Domination" or "Invade and Annex" A2/3 servers use a teleport script that is on the context menu of telephone poles. Obviously DayZ could use a much better, theme-fitting object. But basically, if you get stuck in the debug, you unstick yourself with a teleport script that essentially redoes the random spawn at the start of the game.

(so where it teleports you to is random)

TelePHONEmast. Different title, and this was supposed to be constructive. Telefonmast gave me the idea for the name.

Last time i tried, simply relogging whilst in the debug plain spawned me back on the beach.
