We found a car, that wont refuel! HELP PLEASE!

Hi guys,
 

Im a 'lil new around dayz, but since iv me my friend we're getting into it.

 

We planned a route that crossed Mogilevka, where we found a nice car (Old Hatchback)

 

We managed to get away from the town, but a little after the car stopped... the fuel sould out.

 

We had a jerry can, so we refueld it, but the tank stayed empty. First i tought the gas tank is broken so i left my leg-broken tammate,

and i headed back to Chernogorsk for morphine and fuel tank parts.

 

When i came back, i tried to repair the car but there was no option for it!

We refueled the car with 3 more jerry can but still nothing, the tank is empty! (we finally found a car, we cant leave it in the middle of the road!)

!!!PLEASE HELP!!!

Check it on server restart, if still no good i would blow it up and wait for it to respawn in its location.

With patch 1.7.6.1. you had to enter the driver seat before you did any action with the car (repair/refuel) otherwise the action would not have worked. Dont know if it is still a problem with 1.7.7 though...

You will need a Toolbox to see what is broken and to fix it, look for a Blue-and-Yellow Box in industrial Spawns

m.cab, i read that driver thingy at other forums, but tell me if i do something wrong, but when i enter the car, the only options are:

sit on backseat, and get out...

 

How can i refuel the tank from inside?

 

(correct me if i misunderstood something)

He means you need to enter the car as driver, and then leave it, and then refuel.

yepp, what Ratiasu said. Just enter it on the driver seat and leave it again so it "syncronizes with the server" or some crap like that. The best position to refuel is often closely behind the drivers door mostly. The menu appears there 95% of the time. Good luck! (:

 

Just as an addition on Zombos post: Of course you only need the toolbox for repair stuff, not for refuel!

The server restart soon (i hope)

 

it usually down for 15-30 min

 

but im waiting for 5 hours now, it changed to "Waiting" from "Down" so its gonna be back now i suppose
