Can't get the game to work... help?

I have seen others with this problem and attempted their solution, no luck :(

I am using the retail versions of arma2 and arma2 OA, as far as i know they are both up to date, arma2 being 1.11 and OA being 1.60.

I also know that they are supposed to run as combined operations but i don't know how to do that.

Any help would be appreciated.
