Can't pick up chemlights?

So I was playing on a night server for a change & noticed that I could not pick up my thrown chemlights. At first I thought it was because I was in a building, but no. Went outside on the grass, tried them on a road, tried reloading my guns, dropping the stack again, putting them in my backpack & taking them out again etc etc. No matter what I do, the menu option does not appear when I scroll over the glowstick. On a positive note, Cherno looks like a discotheque after I burned through about four stacks around town.

Has anyone else experienced this with the latest patch? Suggestions?
