Sometimes during death I get locked on the screen

So sometimes when I die I can not do anything on the you died screen. Escape brings nothing, I can't switch to chat options, I can still see people typing and death messages, but I'm just locked

Easy fix is to just force close the program and restart, but now I am just wondering if anyone else has this issue / knows of a permanent fix?
