Shadow23 23 Posted July 8, 2013 So, i want to put dayz origins on my SSD so that I can play it and get better frames. Unfortunately, I only have like 50 GB of SSD and can't afford to throw all of arma, OA, and the other mods on there, any idea how I can set the directory to get origins from my SSD, while Arma stays on my regular hard drive? if that makes sense....I know how to do it with regular Dayz, as you cange change the directory for it on DayZ Commander, but how can you do it with the other mods?Help would be much appreciated! fluxley 2228 Posted July 8, 2013 Just do as you would for changing the normal dayz directory, it should look for all the other mods there too
Shadow23 23 Posted July 8, 2013 As far as I see, there is no option to change directory on the other non regular dayz mods. Maybe i'm not seeing something?
TheDesigner 1197 Posted July 8, 2013 (edited) I'm pretty sure the directory is an overall setting. So it'll look for all mods where you tell it to. Forgive me if I'm mistaking. I'm on mobile and can't double check. Edited July 8, 2013 by TheDesigner

If you have your directory set to there, check to see if DC says you have Origins installed. If so, I'm wrong. If not, you're in the green to transfer files and play :P. fully 51 Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) Very easy to do =)You need to make a shortcut or make a .bat file would be better. You need to make sure the mod is linked.Example below - just change/delete what you have to, make it work for you =)"D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;C:\path\to\SSD\location\@Origins;" "-name=Fully" -skipIntro -nosplash -world=empty -maxMem=2047 -noPause Edited July 9, 2013 by Fully
