Falcyn 0 Posted July 7, 2013 (edited) QF (Quixotic Folly) is excited to announce the launch of a new Taviana Server.We'd like to grow our community, and if you're looking for a great server to play on, give us a shot.We've played on many Taviana servers and know that walking is... well... unacceptable.- We've placed over 600 vehicles on the map for your use, with re spawns daily. (got a little carried away actually, but good news for you!)- We also have:- Deployable Bicycle <- Build a bicycle from the toolbox you spawn with! You'll never have to run anywhere!- No Voice over Sidechat <- Server Auto-Punishes those annoying people who spam voice over sidechat!- Suicide Vests <- Czech Vest Pouches allow the wearer to turn themselves into a deadly bomb.- Tag as Friendly <- Never shoot your friends again (or get shot for hesitating)- Join Group <- Gives you and your friends access to group chat in game that only you can see. (Also works for Voice).- Dog Fighting <- Every plane on the server is outfitted with an M240 with 2400 rounds of ammunition- Auto Refueling <- Modified to work with ANY fuel point, not just gas stations. (Also fills up faster)- Abundant Air Vehicles <- Plane in every hangar, / 3-6 choppers at every air field.- 3 Military Encampments with basic weapons / repair points (protected by NPCs).- Attack Choopers < - 2 UH1Y's spawn normally, with more robust choppers spawning in as mission objectives; know that they do not persist past restart. (read more below)- Extra Gear <- Getting the best gear here doesn't take forever, with NPC Weapon drops / Missions. You'll be killing bandits in no time. (We have Rockets!)- The latest version of BaseBuilding allows you to create custom bases with your friends, and provides a place to store all this loot.- Sleep at Tents <- Recover Blood easily by sleeping in a tent. (Beware! You snore loudly!)- Custom Player Stats (Debug Monitor) <- Assign a key to Use Action 20 in Options>Controls>Custom Actions to active this feature.- Active Admins <- We've proven our ability to catch and ban hackers on a daily basis, with antihack technology You'll have a great place to play.- Its worth mentioning again, You'll never be left to wander aimlessly on foot forever again! 600+ Vehciles are spawned on our map for easy travel.*Note*: We will not be adding in self bloodbagging or Heli Lifting. It has ruined our experience on many basebuilding servers; and We're sure that many others feel this way.However, We will soon be adding the ability to load vehicles into the C130's for airdrops.- Need Gear fast? Late at night with no one on? Do some Missions! On this server we have Mission Events to keep the action goin. Read on...Major Mission breakdown:Firebase: Small bunker and rocket launcher crate.C130 Crash: Two large supply crates.Special Weapons: One rocket launcher crate.Gear cache: One large supply crate.Recover Humvee: One humvee equipped with grenade launcher, will need fuel.Recover APC: One random APC, will need fuel.Recover Heli: One attack chopper, will need fuel.Major missions starts 12 to 30 minutes after completion of previous mission or restart of server. Major missions are marked by large green grid marker on map and announced when they spawn. If you log in after mission starts or die, you will not see the marker. Major missions spawn 10 to 20 NPC's.Minor Mission system breakdown:Wrecked chopper/truck/humvee: Similar to standard DayZ crashed heli with a few AI NPC's.Hillbilly's: Spawns a cabin with good loot and a few AI NPC's.Sniper Team: Spawns 2 snipers with backpacks full of goodies.Axe Murderer: Spawns psychotically tough NPC with backpack full of goodies.Landing Party: Spawns PBX with AI NPC's who drive to shore and set up a tent full of goodies.Minor missions spawn every 5 to 10 minutes after completion of the last minor mission or server restart. They are marked on map by a small red grid marker. Minor missions spawn 1 to 4 NPC's.With the Larger map, we do plan on expanding the Mission System! Come to our servers The NEW Taviana Server. or The established Namalsk map that is custom built that none are any were near how damn cool our servers are!
