What's all this talk of the SA?

Quite simply I've been playing 4 days and I hear everyone is excited for the SA version. Now I've been looking around but mainly all that comes up when I search is people looking a release date. So if someone could be so kind, what is gona make the SA so awesome? Also, what kinda new features are we to expect?
