Color Based Bandit/Survivor Identification

Recommended Posts

If this has already been suggested, I apologize.

Instead of changing the skin of a player when he becomes a bandit, as I've seen in an older suggestion, why not change the color of the text that shows the player's name when pointing at said player? Or changing the player's class from Survivor to Bandit in said text?

As someone with no programming experience, this sounds more simple to me.

Actually I believe the idea is that Rocket wants us playing hard core, IE no third person and no txt over peoples heads revealing their name, distance and location even if you can't actually see them just aiming in their direction.

So I don't see why they would implement this, when in fact were not supposed to be even using it.

I wasn't aware that was their intention.

Between having completely different skins, crow's following the player around, and/or a heart pumping sound, this just seemed easier.

I like the way it sounds. Keeping it to two colors would probably work best.
