godcer 0 Posted June 28, 2013 I have heard that it is possible to get higher resolution textures if you have the DLCs "British Armed Forces" and "Private Military Company". Is this true?I am going to download Day Z from Steam and it says that I have to run Arma II then Operation Arrowhead before running Day Z for the first time. It also says that to get the the high detail textures for all the Day Z models I have to have Arma II: Complete Collection.Which expansions do I need to get the higher resolution texures and in which order do I have to run them? maldorlevr 37 Posted June 28, 2013 Just run them all once in whatever order, the ones you need are British Armed Forces and Private Military Company for high res textures.
applejaxc 2500 Posted June 28, 2013 Run ArmA 2 first, then ArmA 2 OA. The DLCs should load with 2OA, shouldn't they?
Mos1ey 6301 Posted June 28, 2013 (edited) Yeah, you get the high res ghillie, camo, survivor, hero and a few weapons with the DLCs. If you don't mind paying the extra money and think you might play the campaigns then they're definitely worth picking up in the sale. Here are some comparison shots...Run ArmA 2 first, then ArmA 2 OA. The DLCs should load with 2OA, shouldn't they?I'd run them once each just to to make sure that they load into the OA directory, but I think they actually do it automatically.
