SloWis 1 Posted June 28, 2013 So I've been playing this game for a couple of days now, and I was under the impression that there is a set amount of zombies at every specific location, for instance a deer stand has 2-3 zombies, you shoot them or whatever and loot and be of. But at some places there seems to be an infinite number of zombies, yesterday me and 2 other players went to stary and tried to clear out the zombies by the tents, but they just kept on coming. Was this a glitch or is that the way it works? Does some places have a infinite number of zombies? 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Korsbaek 1778 Posted June 28, 2013 Zombies spawn in again a couple of minutes after you kill them.I am also pretty sure that the more persons enter the town, the more zombies. For example: 1 person entering the town spawns 100 zombies, 2 spawns 200 zombies, and so on. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
herrjon 478 Posted June 28, 2013 Well the count doesn't double with another player, but yes, the cap does increase. And zombies will respawn as you clear them out. Better to stay stealthy and only kill when you need to than attempt clear them out, making a bunch of noise and wasting ammo. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SloWis 1 Posted June 28, 2013 OK, thanks for the answer, how do you guys usually go about it? I went in this game after seeing a lot of YouTube videos (as a lot of people can imagine) and it always seems as they can just run in everywhere and loot with almost no zombies paying any attention to them whatsoever, but when I try it I get completely stomped on by zombies lol. herrjon 478 Posted June 28, 2013 Well zombies did change fairly drastically in the latest patch, and I assume most of your videos predate that. However, zombies still can't run indoors or attack through pine trees, so try to be stealthy when looting (not crawling through town though) and when you do get aggro, run through 2 door buildings and break line of sight as much as possible.
