thevaxunator 3 Posted June 27, 2013 Hey, I'm new to Day z and the whole of Arma in general. I saw Arma on sale on steam so I invested 8 pound into it and it is currently downloading. Sula 1205 Posted June 27, 2013 Hi Vax. Did you buy Arma2 Combined Ops? (That's Arma2 and Operation Arrowhead too) You need those plus a download of the mod to play. Then dayz commander or other service to find the servers, that's my favourite one as it's so easy and updates your game for you too.Welcome, and good luck. Gking19 22 Posted July 5, 2013 What DayZ Commander is basically a really easy to use server browser. You can filter for specific servers, add favorites, etc. It's also a way to download any DayZ mod that is largely available.(from my understanding, there's about 20-30 mods downloadable from DayZ Commander.) When you download DayZ from Steam, all you get are the mod files and not a easy way to join a server. DayZ Commander is that easy way. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
