day z roblem with laptop

Recommended Posts

Hi i have an Acer Aspire 5742G

intel core i3-380M

4gb ddr3 memory

AmD radeon hd 6370 512MB

Running windows 7 premium home

i have a problem with the game. As i am connecting to the server the game starts running normaly after moving a little on the map it starts getting slower and slower. making it uncomfortable to play. do you believe its the hardware that can't provide a good quality of gaming or something else? i ve tried to change settings in the game and my graphics card in order to provide better production than quality but the difference is small !!!

(also having 90 ms when connecting to server and usualy 110-120 when disconecting)

hope you can help me

Thank you

its you're processor you really need 3Gb + to play dayz

the reason it is getting slower and slower is that the zombies and loot is spawning near you and it is overloading it

What he said.

Also, your laptop is way too slow to run DayZ, I don't understand how you can play it like that!

who told you that i can !!! its way to slow... and i was in trouble because i have no problems playing arma 2!! only in dayz mod its the problem !! also maybe i have to give my laptop a service.. when i took it i could play crysis 2 very well but now i have heat problems. although i am using a laptop base with air fan, on the overloading of the proccecor it reaches 82 degrees celcius !!!

That really isn't good. If your graphics card was reaching 80+ degrees that would be bad and graphics cards can generally handle a lot more heat than CPUs... I wouldn't recommend playing DayZ or you risk burning out your hardware.
