Repeatedly kicked for 'Addcargoweapon' after a long absence.

Hoping someone can help with this, I haven't played DayZ on a public hive since well before 1.7.6., just saw that there's been a major new update so decided to try it out. The private server I used to play on is gone so I'm back trying public servers but every single one is immediately kicking me when connection hits 'creating character'.

You were kicked off the game (Battleye: addweaponcargo restriction #39)

I'm assuming this is because some of the gear I had the last time I played is no longer legit but I camn't remember the last time I played let alone what I was carrying.

Is there any way to reset my character? Start with a fresh spawn?

Well since there some public hives still on 1.7.6, you could try joining one of them. They removed all .50s in the newest update so maybe you had one on you? I don't know if that would cause the issue though.

lol, open steam, right click arma 2, select properties, select local file tab, then select verify system cache. Once you are done with that, you then DO that to every single arma 2 related game in your library. once you have finish verify all their cache's, you then Launch the games from steams library ONE time to the main menu(all the games arma2,arma2oa,arma2baf,arma2pmc, (keep inmind you have to launch all the games AT LEAST ONE TIME) every month or so

That's bs, his only problem is that he is carrying a weapon that is no longer present in the mod and therefore being kicked for.

Try to find a 1.7.6 server and drop your BAF_L85A2_RIS_CWS.
