Strange error with my friend's DayZ

Since the first day of the installation, my friend loses his whole inventory every time he aborts, spawns with nothing and in different locations when he changes servers in public hive. And, if an admin changes his inventory through their console, he spawns with the exact same inventory every time even if he drops stuff until he dies. Although, his stats like blood or hunger doesn't get reset. I'd appreciate your help,

He/she stated that they have tried it on different public hive servers.

OP, I've never heard of this issue before. Have you tried googling anything on it?

Okay I am confused ... you have used Public Hive and Admins CHanging Inventory.

Admins don't have access to change your Inventory in a Public Hive ... so than this is a Private Hive and if the Private Hives are not linked than he will loose his inventory when he changes server ... because they are not linked.

The other issue sounds like a custom loadout ... which once again points to a Private Hive. It sounds like the custom loadout on the server is faulty.

Can you provide more information like:

DayZ Version

Arma2 and Arma2 OA is a legimate copy

What servers you are playing on.

Yeah. We've tried it both on private and public hive servers.

DayZ Version is 1.7.7.1

Arma2 demo, we both use the demo version and mine works like a charm.

Arma2 OA is legimate, purchased from steam.

We play both on Private and Public hive servers

No he's not, he's using Play withSix

One thing Phixef : your caracter IS NOT shared between private and public hive.

You keep your caracter on all public hive, but is different on each private hive.

No he's not, he's using Play withSix

I haven't used Play withSix in ages. Does it allow you to play using Steam? Like how DayZ commander lets you play using steam.

I don't really know, I use DayZ Commander. Although I guess no it doesn't.

Have your friend try using DayZ commander instead. Sounds like it could be a problem with Play withsix.

Oh and just for the record, my friend can not see car part conditions seperately when he gets in the car and can't see zeroing on weapons, he has some kind of different interface.

Yeah well he reinstalled DayZ, but then we tried teamviewer and apparently he doesn't have arma2, not even demo version..

Indeed that's not possilbe, the Chernarus map comes with Arma 2 :)
