Im playing on windowed currently with highest settings and 100% 3d res. Im getting 30 fps

What would be better? windowed or fullscreen for frames

Normally I would say windowed. However I've noticed, for whatever reason, the games I play seem to lag more in windowed mode. No idea why.

On XP or earlier, fullscreen will always be slightly faster than windowed.

On newer OSs, fullscreen may be slightly faster than windowed.
