DeathBySausage 5 Posted June 18, 2013 I know Dean had said that story and quest lines where out for SA as he wanted people to create their own stories, however what do you all think about random objective based missions you can choose to do and get rewarded or ignore and go on with surviving. Similar to wasteland servers I have played on but more zombieish. This way you are free to make your own story but once you reach the point of having a surplus of supplies and nothing to do there is still content other than wandering around for no reason (which why I would do that in a real survival scenario is beyond me) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

LegitOldSchool 261 Posted June 18, 2013 (edited) I agree I would like some random missions in the style of Wasteland, maybe even with NPCs. These objectives could also be tailored to your humanity level. Survivors/Heroes could have "Clear out a bandit camp" missions, Survivors/Bandits could have "Steal supplies from a survivor compound" type of missions. There could also be neutral missions like "Clean out the infected from X town". Rewards could be slightly better than average loot, or just more of the regular loot. DeathBySausage 5 Posted June 18, 2013 This is true they would camp the spots....I wonder how difficult it would be to have the missions be handed out per player....and im not talking big elaborate missions I mean simple things like go to x kill some ai bandit survivor's and get some loot...or a mission could pop up telling you of a small stockpile of supplies but there is a zombie horde to deal with to get it...stuff like that. Cars with survivor NPCs make their way through cherno. Boat wrecks on to coast.All similar to heli crashes.just different forms of it. I dont know about others but after I got into a group and we had several cars and tents full of supplies thst could last for a while we ran out of any reason to play...we helped others as we could and I would on ocassion get into some pvp but I fealt like there was nothing to play for other than driving around for no real reason Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
