dmagnusv@yahoo.ca 128 Posted June 18, 2013 I cannot fly a Helicopter at all but I sure can eject as close to the last possible second as possible. Has anyone ejected later and survived?
fatherjohn 143 Posted June 18, 2013 it's funny, because when you were like, "I'm losing it" in the chopper, I was thinking you had plenty of time to recover. LOL You just had to level out. Good ejection.
Saethkept 134 Posted June 18, 2013 Nice video. I've ridden them in all the way to the ground and lived to chat about it - a number of times when trying to auto rotate. I often hit the "engine off" command just after takeoff. If I were a character in a DayZ novel or play, that would be my fatal flaw.

Chris529 380 Posted June 19, 2013 could have saved that but hey you survived. You could probably survive the crash anyway, I've crashed an an-2 into a field and it blew up but I lived.

Good ejection. Yeah I am not what you call a skilled pilot. My only thought was Eject and do it fast. lolNice video. I haven't done that but I have ejected by accident before we were in hover mode before.could have saved that but hey you survived. I seem to die each time I crash hence why I thought this was such a epic win for me. lol
Nitro DayZ 79 Posted June 19, 2013 Haha nice last second eject, I would never be so lucky, whenever I crash a chopper I just freak out and forget to try ejecting
Zypha 7 Posted June 19, 2013 You timed that eject perfectly mate!I've often had to eject due to a 'faulty pilot' and missed my chance by about a meter and end up having my knee's meet my shoulders.
fatherjohn 143 Posted June 19, 2013 For some reason, this reminds me of a time when we had four guys in a Huey, and the pilot lost connection to the server. All of a sudden, we realized we had no pilot, and nobody could switch to the pilot seat. We did all eject safely, but there was a funny (afterward) brief moment when we got quiet and all thought, "What do we do now?"
