Installing Arma II, can't find setup.bin?

So.. after waiting for the SIX HOUR GamersGate download to finish.. I get the set up install screen finally. I enter my code, it asks me where to install.. I click ok.. and within less than a second it says error and it can't find setup.bin I believe it's called and it all closes. ... WHAT. What do I do now!? All it did was put in the Bohemia Interactive and Arma 2 folder which is empty.. what happened?

Well, now I'm starting the installment over again with the GamersGate .. launcher.. thing. It says it's going to take 3 hours but it said that last time and it took 6 hours.

holy shit, do you have team speak 3 and team viewer 8? it looks like thats what it's gonna take to get this working. to make sure, you BOUGHT this game correct?

Yes, I bought it from GamersGate. I may have teamspeak but I do not have team viewer. Is this that much of a serious problem? Lol.

I did NOT pirate the game.

yup, lol its that big of a problem, if a install shuts down like that it could be anything. and we'd be here for a day or 2 before we actually get any ground covered

Isnt the code they give you a steam code?

I don't think so.. I entered the code into the installer once it opened up. But I guess I'll see if I can authenticate it on Steam.

EDIT: Well, what would the most common reasons for this problem be? If it doesn't work this time I'll just restart my computer and try again.. but by then it'll probably be about 4-5 am since it's 8pm right now here. (Germany)

I think in order for it to be a steam code it would have to be bought threw steam. thats why most people suggest you buy the game from steam and install dayz via dayz commander. the only way for that is if gamegate had a deal with steam and gives them a promotional code that steam would redeem but that would be pointless.

I would've bought it from Steam but Steam always says some sort of error when I try buy anything from them so I have long since given up on trying to get anything from them.

install team viewer, and lemme take a peek and see what is happening, i've done steam, amazon, retail. never done a gamer gate dl before. so i don't think very much people here have any knowledge on this issue, though being an IT im sure i can get you pointed into the right direction.

Also, first time I installed it to Program Files(x86).. sometimes programs tell you not to install it in program files which has fixed one problem in particular when I installed it somewhere else. .. I guess I'll get team viewer.

I brought chivalry from a similar site called greenmangaming, and that gave me a code i just put in steam and it worked.
