I installed CO from steam and I'm using commander to get on DayZ but every time i try i get this...help?

Go and find your ArmA 2 Free folder inside your Steam folder. Select the folder marked Addons and copy. Go to your ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead folder. There shouldn't be an Addons folder here. Paste the one you've copied from ArmA 2 Free.

oh snap, i miss read your post. Um, when you use steam use the verify system cache, for all the arma games and dlc's you can find that by, opening steam, right clicking all arma games and selecting properties, then go to local file tab, then select verify system cache. do that to all them, once done run each game one time through steam, accept and allow ANY permissions or exceptions windows that may pop up. after you have done all that it's suggested to restart your computer, but i never do. i just restart steam then log out then open dayz commander and launch the game.

well you got rid of that message so beans...but i still have a bad version? would this be because of steam being a dick or?..

Also Arma's being dick-ish too "failed to start game with shared content.Please update the following games:

Arma2"
