Dayz Commander Trouble. Please help!

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I simply what to play dayz through Dayz Commander. When I click on the server I want to go on, it opens ArmA2 OA, and when everything loads up, it just brings me to the main menu. So I went to Install/Update, and it says Im up to date. And in Install/Update, it says DAYZ: (Not Found). Not sure if this means anything, but I try to install it anyway, and it doesnt work. It has a red triangle says...

"System.Net.WebException: The operation has timed out

at System.Met.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()

at Dotjosh.DayZCommander.App.Core>ModDownloader.DownloadAndExtract(Int64& totalDownloaded, Double totalSize)

at Dotjosh.DayZCommander.App.Core.ModVersionInstaller>InstallSync(ModVersion newVersion, ModVersionFie modVersionFile)

So, I went to my firewall, and allowed Dayz Commander through the firewall. And that still didnt work. I dont have the Dayz Mod installed on steam, and still didnt work. Can anyone help me with this?!?!?

And thanks for taking your time for reading this.

its very possible that the directory that commander is looking for your dayz files is incorrect.

if you go into commanders setting you can overwrite the file directory that its looking for Dayz in, go ahead and do that and paste in the correct folder path.

e.g mine is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ

if yours is on a SSD or something it might be different.

I had the same problem. Don't know if this will help, but what I did was in settings under game directories I checked all those override boxes.
