PaxC4T 159 Posted June 15, 2013 So I was playing on one of the Vigilant Addiction servers when it was apparently hit by a hacker. The hacker made it so every single person that died, or newly joined was spawned into the debug plains. I thought people were simply having an issue with 1.7.7 so i shrugged it off. so I'm in Electro and well. Get sniped cause there is always some asshole with a DMR on the hill, I respawn and end up in the debug planes with abunch of others, some with weapons and hero skins and some with bandit skins, The hacker has made it so random shit is given to them. There had been a slight deathmatch going on out there but it stopped before I got out there. Two others and I started to make our way towards Chernarus, South East. One of them had 7 blood bags, a hero skin with an old man face, and an M16A3 M204. the other, like me, with nothing. I took a g36 from a dead bandit and we went on our.... long.......loooonnnng way.So we talked about many things. RhinoCrunch's incessant bitching about the SA being a scam, how we cant wait for the SA, all the changes to DayZ that have been made. Mostly about more DayZ stuff.So at this point, about an hour into traveling, were starved, thirsty and loosing blood from it, we cross some animals killed them and ate them raw at risk of infections, but the thirst stayed. Luckily, the Blood bags lasted us awhile, My second blooding giving me an infection. So, Double the speed of loosing blood.The other guy logs off without a word so me and the Hero are left traveling for the next hour. at this point i have my survival multitool balanced on my W key to keep me walking.We finally run out of blood bags and I start passing out, He drags my body, which seemed to slow the blood loss but slowed our speed just as much. All the while him shouting "Dont you die on me!" and me returning "Leave me! Chernarus needs a hero!" and after a few more moments, I keel over dead.We then get on side chat typing to eachother "Go on without me! I'm with you in heart!" I said, he replied "Damn it! I didnt go through dubya dubya two for you to haunt me! But it was an honor dragging your body in vain!"We then shared eachothers steam accounts blah blah blah FRIENDSHIP :DBut this goes to show you. No matter what happens on DayZ it turns into a story. Hackers hack it, you got a story of defiance. and this Hacker actually brought people together!TL;DR: Server was hacked, put in debug plains, spend hours traveling back only to die and make a friend, 9 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
