I want to ask is there any update on the price of DayZ when it's Alpha? I seen it's like $25 odd? Or has it changed?

You only need to buy the game once? Even after Alpha?

If we are talking about the standalone you only have to pay once.

If you buy the Alpha you will get the Beta and the full game for free. (Good for your wallet)

If you buy the Beta you will get the full game free. (in between)

If you buy the full game you will only get future updates free. (Bad for your wallet)

no there isn't that i know of.

once you buy Alpha you will own the official one when it comes out.

Similar to Minecraft and Arma3.

reason why mod is 25 is because you are buying Arma 2 and DLC.

No one knows yet. It had been previously stated that it would be offered at a discounted rate during Alpha but the only things guaranteed in life are death and taxes.
