Stuttering after 1.7.7

I haven't played since 3 months ago or so. My FPS was smooth back then.

Now, having installed 1.7.7, I go to play, and in any server I join, I get a stuttering every half second or so. My FPS reads at 100 and that is correct, because in between the stutters it is incredibly smooth. Any ideas what the issue might be?

this patch is known to have lag.is to hard,makes loot suck,and kills a child when ever anyone updates to 1.7.7

I think The 1.7.7 curse can be cured by replacing your computers Liquid cooling with virgins blood.

Well, it uses fetus blood... does that count?

And still, like I said, I'm getting ONE HUNDRED FPS in between each stutter. Regular lag isn't the issue.

I was talking about stutter,that seems to be what this patch caused not bad fps just random lag spikes.

Well if the game becoming balls to the walls hard again is no big deal then the lag spikes are the only thing to worry about.
