How many people do you have to kill to get the bandit skin?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I am just a regular player and am trying to figure out how exactly I get the bandit skin. I really dont want to get the skin but there seems to be a lot of violence on the server I play on and I dont want to get the skin because then people hunt me mercilessly. I am also looking for a partner to play with so if you are interested, contact me through skype. My thing is eaglephill.

You need -2500 humanity, which is 3 murders. Atleast for me after 3 murders I get the bandit skin usually.

According to the wiki it happens when you have 0 or negative humanity but I get my bandit skin at -2500.

Well You start at 2500 humanity, so when you kill three people you go down to 0 which really is -2500 humanity. ( Least thats kinda how it is in Origins)

seriously? I'm playing on Namalsk at the moment and I killed someone out of panic (ran into each other I point blank shot him in the face with revolver). I killed the same guy a bit later in a barracks while he looted a guy he killed, he was a survivor though so when I killed him with hatchet that's another 'murder'. My humanity was reduced drastically after both kills. If I have another panic accident or kill another murderer and get bandit skin then it just shows how flawed it is.

I play on Namalsk aswell, and don't mind it. Everyone is a bandit, it's impossible to avoid PVP on it and you'll get a bandit skin sooner or later.

And Nimz, I don't even know how much humanity you need anymore then. It is three murders though I'm pretty sure about that regardless of what map/mod it is.

That makes sense but it still bugs me. It's not like I went out and hunted him down. Well as long as I don't lose my ghillie suit I don't really care I guess.

Nah, you're not gonna loose your ghillie suit at all. People might not even notice your skin either, however I believe that when they hover over you it will say Bandit. I am not sure, because today I got a ghillie, became a bandit and still had the nametag of Survivor.

Basically; if you get your ghillie first then get bandit skin you might not have the bandit nametag but will spawn with a bandit skin afterwards. That's what just happend to me.

Clothing hides the bandit skin. If you kill someone with camo or ghillie on it counts as a murder even if they are a bandit.
