I always carry a holy book on my travels around Chernarus, ALWAYS

Ahaha

I do as well. I found some extra copies and now I try to sneak them into my friends' backpacks and vehicles. 

They always get mad and I just tell them "IT WILL KEEP YOUL SAFE, DONT WORRY"

If you keep them in your harness/webbing it will stop small arms fire.  You need at least 3 of them.  Try it with you friend and a Makarov.
