Zombie mechanics relative to weight

Recommended Posts

I would like to see zombies run, walk, attack and lose interest relative to their height and weight. There are several zombies from Chernarus that look and seem to be over weight, yet they all run at the same speed forever, without even breaking a sweat.

So my suggestion is that the more fit a zombie looks, the more potential the zombie has to run as fast as the survivor and the easier it is for the faster zombies to grab you and slow you down instead of dropping you to the floor, while the slower fattier zombies have the potential to knock you down to the floor like in 1.7.7. The faster zombies would last longer chasing you and the slower zombies would lose interest after chasing you for a while.

Pic semi related, yellow zombie on bottom left is fatter than most zombies yet runs just as fast as the rest. post-162630-0-29279500-1371156999_thumb.

Very productive first post mate. :beans:

This would be a solid change that would increase immersion.

It would be good to see some more variety in the zeds behaviour and movements .

Some absolute screamers , that will cause huge amounts of noise , some quieter ones , fast ones , slow ones etc .

Confused ones that just run around obliviously at random , to help create uncertainty .

Some sleeping even ( I guess they sleep or rest , since they are still alive ) that can wake up when disturbed .

Perhaps even some that have starved or accidentally killed themselves ( steer clear they are likely to be infected ) , though I think some of these spawn unintentionally .

Yes, this is a great idea, it adds so much stuff to the zombies making them very interesting!
