Reloading makes you a Vegas sign

What happened:

Every time I reload the crossbow, 3 bars are added to my sight meter, and correspondingly cause zombie aggro. This may have been happening since 1.7.1.1, but I verified it in 1.7.1.4.

Where you were:

Crawling on grass, inside houses, pretty much everywhere

What you were doing:

Fighting zombies.

Was silent and prone, shot my arrow, reloaded, had 4 sight bars for 2 seconds, then was back to 1

I've been having the same thing. Also happens when I reload my M1014 shotgun.

One of the updates made reloading the crossbow very visible, it's not a bug.

What's the purpose of making reloading a crossbow more visible? It's not that crazy of a process and can be done more silently than reloading a gun.

also looting is almost impossible in towns as crouching to access the menu is basically like screaming IM HERE COME GET ME!

If you have your primary weapon out, you can access loot piles without having to stand up, as well as other actions like eating and drinking. I think it's just a limitation with the Arma2 engine, although hopefully they can fix that in a beta patch.
